Instructions

  1. 1
Dissolve cannabis tincture or cannabis honey completely in 50ml warm water.
  2. 2
Wash lemon and orange (organic!), slice thinly.
  3. 3
Lightly press ginger slices — releases more aroma.
  4. 4
Clap mint leaves between your palms — activates essential oils.
  5. 5
Layer everything in a large jar: ice, fruit, cucumber, mint, ginger.
  6. 6
Pour cannabis solution over it, top up with remaining water.
  7. 7

  8. 8
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. The longer (up to 8 hours), the more flavor.

Pro Tips

  • Cannabis does NOT dissolve in plain water — always use tincture (alcohol-based) or honey as an emulsifier.
  • Don't steep fruit longer than 8 hours — it becomes bitter.
  • Variation 1: Watermelon + basil + lime. Variation 2: Pineapple + mint + coconut.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do edibles take to kick in?
Cannabis edibles typically take 30–90 minutes to kick in, depending on your metabolism, body weight, and whether you've eaten recently. Always wait at least 2 hours before consuming more to avoid overconsumption.
How do I calculate the THC dosage for Cannabis Infused Water?
Use our THC Edibles Calculator to calculate the exact THC mg per serving based on your strain's potency and the amount of cannabis used. A common starting dose for beginners is 5–10 mg THC per serving.
Can I use cannabis tincture instead of infused oil in drinks?
Yes, cannabis tinctures work well in drinks. Start with a low dose (0.5–1 ml) and shake well to mix. Tinctures are alcohol-based and may slightly alter the flavor.
How do I make cannabis drinks less bitter?
Use high-quality infused honey or coconut oil instead of plain cannabutter to reduce bitterness. Citrus juice and strong flavors like mint or ginger also help mask the cannabis taste effectively.
