Instructions

  1. 1
Rinse sushi rice until water runs clear. Bring to a boil with 1.2 times the volume of water, reduce heat, and simmer covered for 15 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes off heat.
  2. 2
Warm rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Drizzle hot over rice and gently fold in with a wooden spatula. Cool to room temperature — do not refrigerate.
  3. 3
Prepare fillings: slice avocado into strips, julienne cucumber finely, julienne carrots. Have cannabis sesame oil ready.
  4. 4
Cover bamboo mat with plastic wrap. Place nori sheet on top, wet your hands. Spread rice evenly over 2/3 of the nori, leaving a 1.2-inch (3 cm) border at the top. Place filling on the bottom third.
  5. 5
Roll the mat from the bottom, pressing firmly as you roll. Cut finished roll with a sharp, wet knife into 8 pieces. Drizzle cannabis sesame oil as dip or lightly on the cuts. Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
