Instructions

    Decarboxylize cannabis in the oven at 115°C (239°F) for 40 minutes (spread on parchment paper).

    Melt butter and water in a small pot over very low heat.

    Add decarboxylized cannabis and infuse at 70–80°C (158–176°F) (never higher) for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.

    Strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a glass bowl — press the plant material well to extract all infusion.

    Let the liquid set in the refrigerator overnight. The water will settle to the bottom and can be removed.
