Instructions
-
1Let yeast + sugar activate in warm water for 5 minutes.
-
2Knead flour + salt + oil + egg + yeast mixture into an elastic dough. Let rise for 45 minutes.
-
3Filling: Mix suluguni + feta + cannabis butter + pepper.
-
4Divide dough into 2 portions. Roll into ovals (8x12 inches/20x30 cm).
-
5Distribute filling in the center. Roll edges inward and twist at the ends — boat shape.
-
6Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
-
7Remove from oven. Press an indent into the center of the cheese. Crack an egg into it.
-
8Bake for another 3–4 minutes until egg white is set, yolk still runny.
-
9Top with butter flakes on the hot cheese. Serve immediately — stir with a fork!
Pro Tips
- Cannabis butter IN the cheese filling — it infuses into the dough while baking.
- The egg must have a runny yolk — then stir it with the cheese and dip bread into it.
- Suluguni is the traditional cheese — mozzarella + some halloumi is a good substitute.
