2 2 Ribeye steaks (about 250g/8.8 oz each, 2cm/0.8 inches thick)

Instructions

1Remove steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking. Pat dry.

2Heat cast iron skillet on high until lightly smoking. Add oil.

3Place steaks in — don't move! Sear for 2 minutes, then flip.

4Sear another 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium.

5Add cannabis butter, rosemary, and garlic. Continuously spoon the melted butter over the steaks (basting) — 2-3 minutes.

6Check internal temperature: 130°F (54°C) = medium rare, 140°F (60°C) = medium.

7Remove from pan, rest for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper only then.
