Instructions

  1. 1
Melt cannabis-infused butter and cool to room temperature (do not add warm butter to ice cream).
  2. 2
Place Oreos in a freezer bag and crush roughly with a rolling pin — no fine crumbs, coarse pieces are important.
  3. 3
Let vanilla ice cream soften slightly until soft but not liquid (about 5 minutes at room temperature).
  4. 4
Blend ice cream, milk, cannabis-infused butter, and vanilla in a tall cup with an immersion blender or stand mixer (pulse briefly).
  5. 5
Fold in Oreo pieces — DO NOT blend, only stir to keep pieces intact.
  6. 6
Pour into cup. Test: briefly flip the cup upside down — if it doesn't fall, the consistency is right.
  7. 7
    Serve immediately.

Pro Tips

  • Ice cream should only be slightly softened — if too soft it becomes a milkshake instead of a Blizzard. Cooled (not warm) cannabis-infused butter is essential so the ice cream doesn't completely melt.
