Instructions

  1. 1
Cook sushi rice. Warm rice vinegar with sugar and salt until dissolved. Mix with still-hot rice and fan until cooled to room temperature.
  2. 2
Make spicy mayo: Mix Kewpie mayo with Sriracha. Fold in ZenOil cold.
  3. 3
Place nori sheet on a large piece of plastic wrap. Cover with a thin layer of rice — about 2/3 of the sheet, leaving edges bare.
  4. 4
Arrange filling in a line down the middle: salmon or tuna strips, avocado slices, cucumber and carrot (julienne), cream cheese, and cannabis spicy mayo.
  5. 5
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top.
  6. 6
Using the plastic wrap, roll tightly like a burrito. Press the wrap firmly.
  7. 7
Let rest in the wrap for 10 minutes — the rice will stick together.
  8. 8
Remove the wrap or leave it partially rolled. Cut in half.
  9. 9
Serve with soy sauce (fold ZenOil cold into the dip), pickled ginger, and wasabi.

Pro Tips

  • Sushi rice must be room temperature — warm rice tears the nori.
  • Rolling tightly is essential — too loose and the burrito falls apart when eating.
  • ZenOil in the spicy mayo: Kewpie + Sriracha + sesame = a sauce that absorbs cannabinoids perfectly.
  • For vegetarians: tofu or vegetable-only filling (avocado, cucumber, carrot, mango).
