Instructions

  1. 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2
Melt cannabis butter, sugar, cream, and honey in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. 3
Remove from heat. Stir in sliced almonds, chopped almonds, flour, and candied orange peel.
  4. 4
Place small mounds (about 1 tsp each) with plenty of space on the sheet — they spread significantly.
  5. 5
Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven immediately.
  6. 6
Cool completely — they harden and crisp as they cool.
  7. 7
Melt chocolate in a double boiler. Thinly coat the bottom of each Florentine.
  8. 8
Place chocolate-side down on a rack until the chocolate sets.

Pro Tips

  • Cannabis butter instead of regular butter — dosing per piece is low, perfect for guests.
  • Florentines burn quickly — watch carefully and remove immediately from the oven.
  • Stored in an airtight container between parchment layers, they keep for 2 weeks.
